Bews-y-Coed is in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park, just a stones throw from Snowdon itself. There are many cascading waterfalls, winding and rushing rivers and an abundance of wildlife to be found in the park and the village itself is surrounded by the majestic Gwydir Forest. Aberconwy House is less than ten minutes walk via public footpath and a 1930s suspension bridge from the centre of Betws-y-Coed where you will find a range of restaurants.
